The project “DAHANE DARA DAM” located in Pashtoonkot district of Faryab province in north of Afghanistan and had undertaken by the Ministry of Energy and Water. DAHANA DARA DAM water will be used for hydropower generation and Irrigation as well. According to the reconnaissance survey stage report the roughly estimated height of the dam would be 67.5m with 19.88MCM capacity. A detailed geotechnical investigation was carried out by Truth Land Engineering Services in order to provide the details for the design stage of the dam on January 2018.
