Engineering Field Surveys and Irrigation Schemes Designs

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock is implementing “On Farm Water Management (OFWM)” Project, financed by the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF), in five (5) regions, namely: Kabul, Nengarhar (Jalalabad), Balkh (Mazar-i-Sharif), Baghlan and Herat.
The project started its implementation from March, 2011 and is being monitored by Worlds Bank.
The project mainly aims at improving water use efficiency to increase agricultural production, building capacity of local staff to implement similar projects in the country and educating farmers to adopt high efficiency irrigation and improved agricultural practices
Truth Land Engineering Services had successfully conducted Design and topographic survey of 35 Irrigation schemes in Balkh and Baghlan region.
According to actual survey reports of Truth Land engineering services the total length of lining for these canals calculated 280 km and will cover 35 main canals and branches. The final survey and design files delivered to ministry of agriculture and livestock on 12 Feb 2018.
