“There are very real ground realities indicating water scarcity; however, in aggregate terms, Afghanistan has an adequate amount af water. There are approximately five major river basins in the country – Amu Darya, Harirud-Murghab, Helmand, Kabul, and Northern. Altogether these are estimated to provide 75 billion cubic meters (BCM) of accessible water” (The diplomat).
Access to resources of water for irrigation and public use has been in the core of Truth Land for the past decade.
