The CHAK-E-WARDAK MHS was built/commissioned in 1941, as such has out lived its life. The Ministry of Energy and Water (MEW) plans to rehabilitate/renovate the CHAK-E-WARDAK Micro Hydropower Station (MHS) including Switchyard, Transmission& Distribution Network.
In accordance to the scope of the project, a geotechnical study was carried out for the purpose of rehabilitation of CHAK-E-WARDAK Micro Hydropower Station (MHS) by Truth Land Engineering Services on April 2017.
